Handling Maintenance Items
Burnside Mobile manages maintenance items in the Tables view. After maintenannce items are collected in the field they are available in the Tables view for processing.
Maintenance Item Filters
By default the table view opens with all maintenance items visible. You can filter your maintenance items quickly by using the Maintenance fly-out button.
Clicking on the fly-out button will let you then select one of the following Maintenance types statuses: Assigned, Regulatory, Past Due, ASAPrac (As Soon As Practicable), or Closed. Clicking these status buttons will filter the grid based on the selected status.

Assigning Work
- Highlight the rows on the maintenance table for those deficiencies you would like to create a work order for and select Assign from the toolbar (or right click with your mouse).
- Select a name from both the Assign to and Submit to dropdown lists. And a work Order Template from the template field if required.
Note that the text colour of the items sent to work order changes from Black to Blue and the Opened, Assign To, Status, and Work Order columns are populated (use the show/hide columns option to display these columns or other fields). Other text colours are Red (past due), and Orange (as soon as practicable) .
Closing Work Items
Highlight the rows on the maintenance table for those deficiencies you would like to close. Select Close from the toolbar, fill in the form with a date and optional note, and the click the Close Work button.
Maintenance Items do not have to be assigned to a work order to be closed. They can be closed without assigning them to a work order using the same methodology.
Printing a Work Order
To print a report for a work order select Printable Work Order from the toolbar. You will need to note from the Maintenance List the Work Order number so you sellect the appropriate item(s) to print.
- Select a Work Order Number from the dropdown list.
- Select the Format (one per page or multiple per page)
- Select an Optional Note from the drop down list
- Type a note in the Optional Note box.
- Select Run Report to reproduce a printable work order.
